dc.description.abstractIn this Ordinance, recorded as Ordinance 121063 and Council Bill 144436, the City Council of the City of Seattle amends Seattle Municipal Code to require that, unless otherwise mandated by law or by court order, no Seattle City officer or employee shall inquire into the immigration status of any person, or engage in activities designed to ascertain the immigration status of any person. This document includes an affidavit and copy of the ordinance's publication in "The Daily Journal of Commerce".
