Resolution 06-002-S19: Opposition to the Border Protection, Antiterrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act

Abstract

In this Resolution, the City Council of the City of Los Angeles includes in its 2005-2006 Federal Legislative Program opposition to H.R. 4437, the Border Protection, Antiterrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act of 2005, which would give the Secretary of Homeland Security authority to tighten border security and enforce immigration laws.
