dc.description.abstractIn this Resolution, the City of Albany Common Council calls on all state, federal, and local political leaders and agencies to refrain from all unnecessary measures to jail, detain, or deport migrants and their families living in the City of Albany. The Resolution also instructs public safety personnel to not ask people about their immigration status and urges the City to create a welcoming and compassionate environment for immigrants.
