By signing and submitting this Agreement, together with your honors thesis and any accompanying materials, you, the author: Grant to the Trustees of Mount Holyoke College (MHC) the non-exclusive, perpetual right to: -Store a digital version of your thesis, and any accompanying material, within the Institutional Archive. -Convert your thesis, and any accompanying material, without changing the content, to any other format necessary for preservation and storage. -Create a back-up copy of your thesis and any accompanying material for preservation purposes. -Make your thesis, and any accompanying material, available to end-users of the Institutional Archive in accord with the access permissions you specify at the time of submission. You, the author, certify the following: -Your thesis, and any accompanying material, is an original work, and does not, to the best of your knowledge, infringe upon any third party’s copyright, including illustrations or images. -If your thesis, or any corresponding material, contains any third party content for which you do not hold copyright: a) you have identified and acknowledged this content clearly within your work; b) AND you have used the copyrighted work within the bounds of the Fair Use exemption of U.S. Copyright law (17 USC 107); c) OR you have documented that you have obtained the unrestricted permission of the copyright owner to grant MHC the rights required by this license. In consideration of MHC agreeing to post your materials, you agree to indemnify and defend MHC for any claims, losses, or demands arising from any copyright dispute pertaining to content in your thesis. MHC will clearly identify your name as the author of the thesis, and will not make any alteration, other than as allowed by this Agreement, to your work.
