By signing and submitting this Agreement, you, the author(s), or copyright holder(s):

1.  Grant to the Trustees of Mount Holyoke College (MHC) the non-exclusive, perpetual right to:
Store a digital version of your work/materials in the Institutional Digital Archive.
Convert your work/materials, without changing the content, to any other format necessary for preservation and storage.
Create a backup copy of your work/materials for preservation purposes.
Make your work/materials available to end-users of the Institutional Archive according to any access restrictions indicated at the time of submission.

2.  Acknowledge the following:
Your work/material is original, and does not, to the best of your knowledge, infringe upon any third party’s copyright, including illustrations or images.
If your work/material contains any third party content for which you do not hold copyright:
you have identified and acknowledged this content clearly within your work;
AND have documented that you have obtained the unrestricted permission of the copyright owner to grant MHC the rights required by this license;
OR, you have used the copyrighted work within the bounds of the Fair Use exemption of U.S. Copyright law (17 USC 107).

In consideration of MHC agreeing to manage your work/materials, you agree to indemnify and defend MHC for any claims, losses, or demands arising from any copyright dispute pertaining to content in your work/materials.

MHC will clearly identify your name as the creator of the work/materials, and will not make any alteration to it, other than as allowed by this Agreement.
