Brenner, Rebecca2015-08-242015-08-242014-10-172015-08-24http://hdl.handle.net/10166/3696As the first intern for the Frances Perkins Center, Rebecca Brenner organized and logged the extensive research of Kirstin Downey, author of The Woman Behind the New Deal, for transport to the Mount Holyoke College Archives & Special Collections. Rebecca learned archival skills, became comfortable with hand-written pieces of history, and synthesized information. Overall, this internship was one of Rebecca's favorite life experiences, and she will always remember the conviction of Frances Perkins, who said "social justice would be my vocation."en-USFrances PerkinsFrances Perkins Center InternshipWhere Does Today Meet Yesterday?: Sharing History With the Publicpublic
