Abstract
In this letter, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office announces that, based upon U.S. Magistrate Judge Stewart's clarification in a case involving the Clackamas County Jail, immigration detainers are “requests” and that the detainers do not provide the necessary legal basis for the Jail to hold a named person in custody.
